less is more cardio calories burned

Which fitness plan would be more successful in weight loss?
Lately I’ve been doing 40 minutes of cardio (burning 330 calories) and 20 minute pilates video.
I do it 6 times a week, and on the 7th day I just do an hour of pilates. Is this good, or would I get better results if I did cardio every other day for an hour and pilates every other day for an hour??
I try to eat around 1200 calories a day, sometimes a little more/less. Everything I eat the healthiest options possible. (fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains, etc.)
I would break this up to an hour of cardio every other day and 30 minutes of pilates/30 minutes of weights every other day. You should have at least one day a week with no exercise so your body can rest. The other thing I would say is to make sure you vary your cardio. Maybe one day for cardio, do kickboxing, then one day do cycling. By adding variety into your workouts, you reduce the chance of overuse injuries and the possibility of exercise burn-out. For my workout videos, I subscribe to an exercise video download service. It’s great, because it gives me tons of variety at a great price. I use http://www.workoutsondemand.com (if your interested)
